Dr. Ahmed Rahman is a committed and compassionate Specialist General
Surgeon with sub-specialised training in Colorectal, Upper-GI and Trauma. He is
a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS).

Dr. Rahman is keen to offer patient centred care. He offers services in General
Surgery (Laparoscopy/ Laparotomy) including Gallbladder surgery, Hernia
Surgery, Colorectal surgery, Skin lesion excision and is fully accredited by
Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) in endoscopy (Gastroscopy and
Colonoscopy).

He has completed his MBBS at the University of Dhaka and Masters in General
Surgery at University of Sydney and went on to complete his surgical training at
St George Hospital (Southern Network) in Sydney. Subsequently, he achieved his
General Surgical Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Following this he further pursued subspecialty fellow training in Macquarie
University Hospital (Gastrointestinal- Colorectal and UGI) and St George Hospital
(Trauma and General Surgery).

Committed to staying at the forefront of surgical advancements, Dr. Rahman
regularly participates in continuing medical education and is affiliated with Grafton
Base Hospital, Kareena Private Hospital, St George Private Hospital, Baringa
Private Hospital, Campbelltown Private Hospital, The George Centre and
Wollongong Day Surgery, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of
care using the latest techniques and technology.
